A loaded firearm has been seized from a car in Birmingham following a traffic operation.
Local officers conducting a nearby traffic operation in Ward End yesterday (11 June), during the operation concerns were raised around a silver Volkswagen Jetta parked on Ward End Park Road.
The car was searched and a loaded revolver was found in the glovebox. The car and firearm have now been recovered for forensic examination as officers work to trace the owners.
