That’s all for today’s live coverage. Be sure to check back later for the reports off the rest of Wednesday’s action. And in the meantime here’s Kevin Mitchell’s lookahead to Thursday’s Murray v FAA blockbuster.

Second set: Osaka 6-1, 6-2 Giorgi

Osaka misfires on a forehand to open her service game, but follows a backhand winner with a 116mph ace to move within two points of the finish line. Another unforced error by Giorgi gives Osaka a pair of match points. The Italian erases both of them then wins another to stake a break point, but Osaka saves it with a 113mph service winner punctuated with a big “Come on!”. From there Osaka rolls to the finish behind two booming serves that Giorgi can’t return in the court. A superb performance over a brisk 70 minutes from by a player who may just be the tournament favorite after today.
