Man charged after cocaine recovered from Birmingham flat

A man has been charged after £78,000 of cocaine was recovered from a flat in the Jewellery Quarter on Tuesday (25 August).

Officers from our neighbourhood task force executed a warrant at a flat on Legge Lane after receiving information from members of the community around anti-social behaviour and drug dealing.

The drugs were recovered in the search, as well as an Audi RS4 from outside the property.

A man has been charged in connection with the find.

Buddy Treadwell, aged 22, of Nearmore Road, Shard End has been charged with possession with intent to supply and is due to appear before Birmingham Magistrates tomorrow (27 August).
