Banned driver Jack Speed, 21, failed to stop for our traffic officers when they tried to pull him over in Erdington just after 11pm on 2 January.

In-car footage shows how Speed lost control of the BMW 1 series before the pursuit continued.

He reached speeds of 100mph, including 80mph in a 30mph zone, and was seen slamming on his brakes as he tried to escape

Speed raced through a red light at 70mph, moments before losing control and crashing into a wall and a parked car on Digby Road.
