In a targeted operation across Dudley, police have successfully seized four off-road bikes following growing concerns over their use in the borough. The operation, which took place on Wednesday, 28 August, was focused on the Kingswinford, Pensnett, and Wall Heath areas, where residents had raised alarms about the bikes being ridden in a dangerous and anti-social manner.
The initiative was spearheaded by the Brierley Hill and Stourbridge neighbourhood teams, working in conjunction with Staffordshire Police. The operation also received substantial support from the off-road biking team, the Force Traffic unit, and the dogs and drones unit, ensuring a comprehensive approach to tackling the issue.
As a result of the operation, four riders were apprehended and are set to face charges for various driving offences. Notably, one of the bikes seized was identified as stolen property from 2021, highlighting the broader criminal concerns linked to this activity.
