Police seized more than 1,000 wraps of drugs and £10,000 in cash during raids this morning (5 June) as we brought down a major County Lines supply chain.
Officers from the West Midlands Regional Organised Crime Unit (ROCU) executed three warrants in Coventry linked to a gang feeding heroin and crack cocaine into Warwickshire.
A 23-year-old man was arrested from an address in Middlesborough Road and 1,326 wraps of suspected Class A drugs seized.
And a 30-year-old man was arrested in Foleshill Road where around £10,000 in cash was recovered.
They remain in police custody on suspicion, respectively, of drugs supply and money laundering.
Mobiles believed to be used as drugs ‘hotlines’ were also recovered and messages sent out to ‘customers’ informing them of the police action and signposting them to substance abuse support on our website.
It’s the latest in a series of successes for the team.
In April the team took down 12 County Lines and arrested 22 people linked to drugs supply.

Chief Inspector Ronan Tyrer from the West Midlands ROCU, said: “We have made significant inroads into drugs gangs across the region…and we will continue intensifying our efforts over the coming weeks and months.
“This latest action was triggered by community intelligence, people who are sick of drug dealing in their communities and the associated crime that attracts.
“Targeting the line holders is a priority for the taskforce − disrupting their ability to operate − but we are also reaching out to drug users linked to the deal line and urging them to seek help.”
